I have painted professionally since 1980, initially in Sutherland one of Scotlands's most Northerly counties.The beautifull village of Tongue on the far North coast was my base and it was from here that my love of the wild and rugged Scottish scenery was born.Painting throughout all of the seasons,I learned to capture not only the basic details but also the moods and changing atmospheres of this wonderful area.
