They travel to a farm which, Arren learns, is run by a friend of Sparrowhawk - a woman named Arren continues to have unsettling dreams and visions of an evil presence following him and reveals to Therru that he killed his father. I hoped it would make up for the awful SciFi Channel-aired film.

I am a great fan of the LeGuin books, and when I learned that Studio Ghibli was going to be involved in making of the film I eagerly looked forward to its release.

Tales from Earthsea is commonly regarded as one of the weakest Studio Ghibli films.
