1,300 yards and 14TDs at CSU his junior year. Another solid week with 68 yards. Only 4 catches but the 11 targets is very promising. I was absolutely down on him as a one year wonder/head case/several off-field issues/questionable hands/work ethic type of guy, especially after he turned in an awful pro day after being dropped from the combine.Takes his game to another level when highly motivatedTurned up against former SEC brethren at Arkansas and FloridaFlashes short-area quickness for a receiver his heightBursts out of breaks and turns with long strides to separateDrop-and-drag specialist with precise feet near boundaryFeisty after the catch with ability to power through arm tacklesRarely matched against NFL-caliber cornerback prospectsDoes his own thing on press-release and will need to tighten it upStruggles to finish low throws and contested catchesContent to reach for catch rather than working to center it in frameWill need to do better job of coming back to the throw It almost looked like he had gotten beyond that. Tipped ball right at the endzone on a 35 yard throw. 12 targets last week.. he’s trending up. This is the type of guy that currently allows you to fill a bye or injury. Stills is the only one I like in the group and he's a #3 or #4 receiver. Another solid week with 68 yards. Hes looking like he can make an immediate impact. I could be wrong, but didn't Williams do better with him as his QB in the preseason? From a budding 4-star recruit coming out of high school to transferring out of the University of Tennessee after his second year. There’s no receiver in front of him that’s good enough to keep him off the field.

Williams has the tools to overtake anyone and everyone in that group but I'm not sure if it'll happen this year. Coaches will pitch that they can develop the nuances of his game in order to get their hands on his size, speed and leaping ability, but Williams' impact might be minimal in year one.
Josh Gordon scenario - failed multiple drug tests, had domestic violence issue. Then having to sit a year and redshirt due to transferring to Colorado State, only to get in trouble off […] Parker has given us no concrete evidence he will hold him off...redraft and/or dynasty.
While that video is cool, keep in mind that he's probably running that route against a guy who will be cut next week.... In 2019, Harris will earn a base salary of $720,000, while carrying a cap hit of $720,000."
Only downside is background issues which so far have been ok. Miami loves this guy and is by far the best WR on the roster. Chargers missing a lot of guys on D and another key CB is 50/50 to go. He made what looked like a great play right at the end of the 1st half. Off-field concerns could make Preston Williams go undrafted or at least last into day three, despite the fact that he has ample natural talent.
Preston Williams was back on the field as camp opened for the Rams, with Bobo informing the media his suspension had come to a close.
Are people THAT turned off by the trash team/trash QB play? However, after a bit of a rough start he may be blossoming in Miami. Looked like he came down with it with his feet in bounds, but was ruled out. Just need more reps — could be wr2 value later in season if he and Rosen develop further I mean, Miami won 3 of the pre-season games, one of them with 34-27 against the Falcons.
Each drive has different personel, if Rosen was the #2 QB he might have faced backup secondaries or even guys that are even cut now, etc. Originally went to Tennessee but was kicked off the team for an altercation with his girlfriend. A matter of inches — maybe even less than an inch — separated Preston Williams from the best catch of the preseason and a dud of a second exhibition in Tampa.
How is the Chargers secondary? Is he still good and would he cover Williams? And there’s one of the caveats in Williams’ game that really takes the bloom off the rose.
The game was on again tonight here in Florida and the TD grab was an amazing twisting, turning, grab over the DB but his toe was just on the line. In the second half of the season if/when the Dolphins are terrible it will be interesting to see if they throw Williams out there to see what they have.
... Preston Williams (WR49) 10.
